How to recognize Telugu

India

Easy to confuse with

Kannada — Near-twins. Telugu letters wear a little check-mark (✓) tick; Kannada letters wear a flat bar or crescent.
Tamil — Telugu is round with check-mark ticks on top; Tamil is chunkier, more angular, no ticks.
